200 ml
Ingredients
- 200 ml cooked chick peas
- 3 table spoons olive oil
- juice from ½ lemon
- herbal salt to taste
- 1 tea spoon fresh grated ginger
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 table spoons of water
- 2 table spoons of Tahini
- ½ table spoon liquid honey
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- 1 tsp of turmeric (optional for a great colour)
Directions
Blend all ingredients with a hand blender or in a food processor. Add more water to the consistency you prefer. Add more spices if you wish.
The turmeric is optional and gives the hummus a beautiful yellow colour.
