Ginger & honey hummus

Yields

200 ml

Ingredients
  • 200 ml cooked chick peas
  • 3 table spoons olive oil
  • juice from ½ lemon
  • herbal salt to taste
  • 1 tea spoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 2 table spoons of water
  • 2 table spoons of Tahini
  • ½ table spoon liquid honey
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of turmeric (optional for a great colour) 
Directions

Blend all ingredients with a hand blender or in a food processor. Add more water to the consistency you prefer. Add more spices if you wish.

The turmeric is optional and gives the hummus a beautiful yellow colour.
